Your Wedding at Aspen Community Church There is no more romantic place on earth for a wedding than Aspen and no more perfect place to celebrate your marriage than the beautiful and historic Aspen Community Church in the heart of downtown Aspen.
Built in 1890, the church is one of Aspen's most distinctive buildings, a massive structure built of red sandstone, with a large round tower and buttresses in the style of an ancient castle. As imposing as the exterior may be, the sanctuary has an unexpected poetic beauty with oaken pews and colorful stained-glass windows. In addition, your music selections played on our magnificent pipe organ will add unmatched majesty to your ceremony. Our ground floor Fellowship Hall may be used for dressing and pre-wedding preparation and is also available for small receptions. We can accommodate up too 100 people for a sit-down dinner or up to 150 for a reception. Outside catering is welcomed.
Aspen Community Church is a United Methodist Church but welcomes brides and grooms of any religious conviction. It is not necessary to be a member of our church in order to have your wedding here. The Church also welcomes commitment ceremonies as well as ceremonies for renewal of vows.
Rev. J.R. Atkins is also available to perform wedding ceremonies at other locations in the area. Please call the church office at (970) 925-1571 or email [email protected] to check availability and to get more information about having your wedding at Aspen Community Church.
